My niece

On Sunday of last week, my niece living in Saitama came to visit me.
She is the daughter of my wife's younger sister. This year she just turned 20 years old.
Currently, she is studying at nursing school.
I certainly hope she can become a successful nurse in the future.

She has, ever since she was young, been very close to me.
I also enjoy her company very much.
Throughout the year, we don't meet very often,
so when we do, I often end up spending too much.

Tonight we, as per her request, ate yakiniku.
Yokohama : Basyamichi's 『Yakiniku : Ootaki』is a store that I frequent often.
It is by far the best yakiniku restaurant that I have ever been to in my life!
It stands high above any other yakiniku restaurant!!!

When I was in my forties, I didn't eat meat very much.
However, once I started to go to this restaurant, my preferences became the exact opposite.
I wonder if I'm not eating more meat than I used to when I was a young man...
I believe this is actually an important step in order to lead an energetic lifestyle in my later years as well.
As you would think, oily meat is NG, but I can eat all the lean meat with ponzu as I like.

but I really love drinking draft premium malts beer at the restaurant.
I was with my niece that day, so I could not let myself drink at my typical pace.
I stopped drinking after 3 glasses.
Still, I got to meet with her and we enjoyed our night together.
